It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wendell Allen of McDonough, Georgia, born in Caro, Michigan, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell M. Allen and Eva M. Allen (Hall); his wife Catherine Allen (Wrona); his brothers, Richard and Jerry; and his great grandchild Coastas Dario Cottos.

He is survived by: his daughters, Shawn (Shawn King), Jeannie (Andy Bunn), Georgia, Jill (Doug Matthews), Rebecca (Mark Goins) and Jennifer (Dustin Berry); and his sisters, Carolyn Abke (Gary) of California and Mary Brown (Larry) of Defiance, Ohio. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
