He was predeceased by: his parents, Greenberry Goodson and Ruby Vanhorn; his wife Ann; his stepfather John; his granddaughter Anna; and his brothers, Lamar and Jack.

He is survived by: his children, Lynn (Dennis), Karen (Lamar), Mike, Jack (Debbie) and Joey (Lewette); his grandchildren, Amanda (Patrick), Alison (Chris), John (Rovenna), Phillip, Katie and Patricia; and his great grandchildren, Piper, Riley, Sam, Dean and Max. He is also survived by family members and friends.
