He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clyde and Lillie Faye Poole Henley; his wives, Susie Atkinson Henley and Ruby Spencer Henley; his son Edward Henley; and his siblings, Julia Henley Saunders, Cletus Henley Wilson and Donald Henley.
He is survived by: his daughter Martha Henley (David Farrell); and his grandchildren, Michael Henley, Christopher Henley (Shavonna) and Emma Farrell. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Ford Funeral Home (2047 GA-138, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236).
