Joseph was born in Cadwell, GA on January, 29 1938 to the late Ruth Jones Carter and George Jones. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Glenda Garland Jones, his children, Deborah A Holland, Cheryl Reese (David), and Joseph "Joey" Jones, Jr. (Tabitha), as well as his grandchildren, Martha Blythe, Mallory Pope, Amy Owens, Kayla Slate, Sydney Nutt, Emily Partain, Anna Grace Merkison, Allison Jones, and 15 great-grandchildren.
