He is survived by: his wife Felecia Rivers; his children, Juan Martinez Rivers, Jr., Ania Rivers, Ashley Hall and Aston Hood; his grandchildren, Terra Walton, Justice River and Ava Jackson; and his siblings, Ross Rivers, Larry Rivers, Jocelyn Rivers, Michael Rivers (Kathy), Brenda Rivers and Jerry Rivers (Debra). He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Legacy Funeral Home, Inc. (8968 Fayetteville Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30238). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
