She was predeceased by : her parents, William Thompson and Nora Thompson. She is survived by : her husband James Snellgrove; her daughter Jennifer Whitfield; her grandchildren, Nicholas Whitfield and Mary Sheldon Whitfield; and her siblings, Gail Lamb (Wendall) and William Thompson (Sue).

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Eastlawn Memorial Park (640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, GA 30252).
