She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Airman Robert Thibault of Chelsea, MA.; her parents, Thomas A. Walsh and Genevieve Walsh (Sterling); her children, Timothy R. Thibault of Gainesville, VA and Tina O'Connor (Matthew) of Marietta, GA; and her grandchildren, Cassidy Rowell Thibault, Robert Cole Thibault, William Braden Vincent, Elliana Faith Vincent, Patrick Kealan O'Connor and Kaitlyn Alana O'Connor.

Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.If desired, donations may be made in her memory to Catholic Charities Atlanta or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.

“I loved Nancy. She was my friend while I was a counselor at Stockbridge High School. She was always helpful, hard-working, kind, and fun. She made the office cheerful. I treasured her friendship after school hours, as well. We enjoyed taking long walks, sometimes around the school, sometimes at Fort Gilliam where Bob was working. She made me feel special because she was loving and fun. I am sorry for her children and grandchildren, who lost a loving mother and grandmother.”
