He was predeceased by: his mother Sherry Akin. He is survived by: his father Randall Akin; and his siblings, Scott Akin, Cathy Dobbs and Cindy Greenlun.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Haisten Funerals & Cremations (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Tunnels and Towers. Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
