He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Rayner and Kate Rayner; his children, Glenn Richard Rayner, Baby Boy Rayner and Jennifer Rayner Bennett; and his sons-in-law, Jim Bennett and Steve Lister.
He is survived by: his wife Grace; his daughters, Lisa Kaye Rayner of Athens and Kimberly Rayner Lister; his grandchildren, Brandy Walker Hodge (Chris), Richard Luke Bennett, Robert Hugh Bennett, Ryan Rayner Bennett, Lydia Grace Martin (Timothy Church), Caroline Martin Hines (Alex), Stacey Lister Merritt (John) and Stefanie Lister Wardrep (Andy); his great grandchildren, Walker Hodge, Weston Hodge, Bowen Hines, Brooklyn Hines, Cameron Merritt and Isabel Merritt; and his sister-in-law Gail Marsden Hutchins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
