He was predeceased by: his father Robert Downs; and his grandparents, T. A., Mary Downs, Harold and Maggie Wells Avery.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Kasarda Downs; his children, Tyler Downs (Jessica) of McDonough, Travis Downs of Covington, Mallory Mace (Andrew) of McDonough and Macey Downs of Locust Grove; his granddaughter Millie Downs of McDonough; his mother Arlene Avery Downs; and his brother Tony Downs of McDonough. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
