He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Calhoun (Ives); his parents, Paul Calhoun and Margaret Calhoun; his sister Canice Davidson; his sons-in-law, Mitch Edge and Robert Doughty; his grandson Josh Doughty; and his pets, Levi and Lilly.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Calhoun (Don), Lori Doughty, Rodney Calhoun (Tina), Carol Harden (Jana) and Marci Ogle (Scott). He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren who will all miss their Grandpa/Papa.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Thomas Calhoun's memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Boys Town Iowa.
