He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hay Sr. and Mary Pitts Redwine; his wife Barbara Ann Bell Hay; his stepfather Frank Redwine; and his brother Tony Hay.

He is survived by: his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Rikki Hay; his grandchildren, Kasen Hay and Ryan Olivia Hay; his son Adam Hay (Lindsey Philpott); and his grandchildren, Doc Hay, Rilyn, Colt and Fiora. He is also survived by two nieces and several cousins.
