He was predeceased by: his parents, Remer Gainous Cooper and Ethel Phillips Cooper; and his siblings, Edward Cooper, Allen Cooper and Irene Cooper.
He is survived by: his siblings, Clarice Cooper Edgen, Grace Harvey (Irvin) of Meigs and James Cooper Sr. (Louise) of Meigs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
