He is survived by: his close friend Willie Mae Weldon; his children, Scotty Cannon (Marjorie), Regina Weldon (Mark), Celina Giddens (William "Bug") and Chris Cannon (Heidi); his daughter-in-law Evelyn Cannon; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Macias, Niki Landrum, Jennifer Shipman, Dawn Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Sandra Cannon, Joseph Cannon, Angela Tipton, Rose Torres, Joanna Mathis, Wesley Weldon, Amanda Weldon, Zachary Carter, Kevin Carter, George Weldon, Tiffany Allen, Ellisia Giddens, Matthew Weldon, Cody Weldon, Willie Giddens, Lynn Stephens, Christine Cannon, Libbi Witherow, Evann Witherow, England Witherow and Bryan Cannon; and his siblings, Felton Cannon, Shirley Merrill, Katherine Pate and Allen Cannon (Sharon). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
