He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Diederich and Elma Diederich; and his siblings, Paul Diederich, Edward Diederich, Louise Morgan, Erma House, Pauline Peters, Geraldine Cook and Bertie Mae Knox.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Layne Diederich; his children, Ricky Diederich (Karen) and Rhonda Lyn Griffin; his stepdaughters, Sharon Serota (Paul) and Hope Arrington (Mark); his grandchildren, Kali Griffin, Kasi Griffin (Logan Hults), Samuel Diederich (Ariana), Grace Diederich Taylor (Bradley), Hannah Jones (Hunter), Christian Howard, Briannah Durrence (Wade), Faith Howard, Miranda Arrington and Trinity Serota; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Durrence, Beckett Jones, Wesley Durrence and Nash Hults.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
