He is survived by: his husband Jimmy Revels of Mershon; his parents, Foster Smith and Betty Bagley Smith of Homerville; his siblings, Brenda Russell (Scott) of Waycross, Marie Wilson (Harris) of Argyle, Amanda James (Derek) of Homerville and Rev. Jamie Smith (Lisa) of Pearson; his half-sister Marie Holder of Douglas; his sister Renee Coleman (Clint) of Waycross; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Bennett (Ashley) of Blackshear and Andy Revels of Mershon; and his siblings' children, Mary Gail Twilley (Jamie) of Waycross, Kurt Russell (Allison) of Millwood, Dannon Pittman of Homerville, Betsy Davis (Cale) of Homerville, Avery James (Mollianna) of Homerville, Alex James (Summer) of Homerville, Jessica James of Homerville, Layne Harrell of Fitzgerald, Kristen Diakogiannis (Chad) of Fitzgerald, Kiah McKinnon (Trent) of Fitzgerald, Issy Burnham (Brent) of Fitzgerald, Chloe Odom of Fitzgerald, Jordan Bennett (Rachel) of Blackshear, Josh Bennett (Ronnie) of Blackshear, Paige Tiner (Chance) of Mershon and Walter Revels (Courtney) of Waycross. He is also survived by several other great nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel (130 Screven Ave, Waycross, GA 31501).
