He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Alvin and Olive Jones Yeomans; and his brother-in-law Sherwood Chesson. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Brannen Yeomans of Mershon; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Holly Yeomans of Mershon; his siblings, Shelba Chesson of Greensboro, NC, Judith Smith (Kenneth) of Hattiesburg, MS and Lucius Yeomans (Kay) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Lee Yeomans (Danielle), Julianna Anderson (Josh) and Caroline Murray (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Russ Murray, Callie Murray, Kendall Yeomans, Aiden Anderson, Kynlee Yeomans, Wyatt Anderson, Kollins Yeomans, Deacon Anderson and Jake Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Patterson Baptist Church (5770 Main St, Patterson, GA 31557). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
