She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Duward Boatright and Melba Earnestine Winn Boatright; and her fathers-in-law, Paul and Merle Smith. She is survived by: her husband Sidney Smith of Mershon; her daughters, Nancy Malphurs (Robert) of Dallas, TX and Meg Hilkemeyer (Mitch) of Panama City Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Gantt Lairsey, Russ Harter, Reed Malphurs, Holt Harter, Rylan Malphurs and Landon Hilkemeyer; her great grandchildren, Collins Lairsey, Stella Harter and Beau Lairsey; her siblings, Duward Boatright (Mary) of Bristol and Wanda Mixon (Donald) of Waycross; and her sister-in-law Paula Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bristol Baptist Church (3920 Bill Kimmons Rd, Bristol, GA 31518). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Comfort Care Hospice.
