She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Parrish and Chlorine Parrish; her brothers, James, Walter and Floyd; her husband Floyd Newkirk; and her sons, Floyd (Cheryl) and Lester.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lester (Trudy), Ezell (Vermell), Deloris (late Lester), Rufus and Tony (Alesia); and her children, Willie, Joyce (late Larry), Jacqueline, Dwight, Janet and Alma. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
