Arethia Dekle Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arethia Dekle (Metter, Georgia), who passed away on July 13, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Levy Barlow and Karrie Parker Barlow; her siblings, Levy Barlow, Jr., Charlie Barlow, Herbert Lee Barlow, Annie Ruth McCullough and Willie Mae Lock; her husband John Roger Dekle; her children, Rogi Ann Dekle, Tony Dekle (Alfreida), Barbara Dekle (Ulysses), Lila Hall, Cheryl Lanier (Marvin), John Stacey Dekle, Phyllis Eason (Ben), Yolanda Scott and Aldric Dekle; her sister Susie Mae Williams of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her sister-in-law Lila Mae Barlow. She was also cherished by fifteen grand-children and 17 great grand-children; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
