She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest "Spot" Oliver and Roberta "Bobbie" Steele Oliver; her brother Carlton Oliver; and her nieces and nephews, Shaun Brant, Braxton Oliver, Tess Oliver and Amy Blackburn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ann Shaw (Eddie), Kay Donaldson (Mike), Peggy Brant (Tommy), Rhonda Jones (Ryan), Christy Blackburn, Ricky Oliver (Barbara) and Bruce Oliver (Carolyn); her sister-in-law Jan Oliver; and her friend Deirdre Burford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Sue's memory.
