It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian McGowan of Metter, Georgia, born in Statesboro, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George W. McGowan and Mary Ann McNair McGowan; his wife Lori Lanier McGowan of Metter; his children, Matt McGowan (Jessica) of Metter and Marlie McGowan Hilton (Matt) of Vidalia; his sisters, Violet Coleman (Barry) of Vidalia and Angie Franklin (Brad) of Metter; and his grandchildren, Jase McGowan, Saylor McGowan and James Hilton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
