He is survived by: his children, John Duane Bishop of Alexandria, Tabitha Bishop of Dawsonville, Nicholas Bishop of Texas, Matt Bishop of Appling and Zachary Bishop of Metter; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Williams, Savannah Cowart and Pierce Merier; his aunt Shelby Jackson of Spartanburg; his sisters, Dianne Tucker (Gregg) of Metter, Deborah Lamb (Jimmy) of Beech Island and Delilah Bishop of Jackson; and his close friends, Jake Gibson and Emily Roper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
