He was predeceased by: his parents, Josh W. Ellis and Anna Atterberry Ellis; and his siblings, Willie James Ellis, Robert Ellis and Catrina Ellis Hampton.
He is survived by: his siblings, Theresa Williams (Willie Lee) of Metter, GA, Alton E. Ellis, Sr. of Metter, GA and Hallery L. Ellis (Miranda) of Phoenix, AZ; and his niece Roberta Nelson (Michael) of Metter, GA. He is also survived by several loving nephews, nieces, cousins, a goddaughter and friends.
