He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Kight and Ara Kight. He is survived by: his son Dexter Kight; and his siblings, James Kight (Debbie) of Metter, Sue O'Neal of Ailey, Levonda Vaigneur (Willah) of Metter and Barbara K. Dasher of Glennville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
