Dorene Sexton Obituary

Dorene Elenor Sexton, 73, of Metter and widow of Garret Sexton, died Wednesday October 4, 2017 at Azalea Health and Rehabilitation in Metter. Born in Billings Township, Michigan, she was the daughter of Amasa Bennett and Sophia Lacznski Bennett She was a factory worker for Morgans Packing House in Indiana. She moved to metter over seven years ago.

Mrs. Billings was of the Pentocostal faith and enjoyed word finds, crossword puzzles, and collecting pens. Surviving are her son, Frank Horseman of Statesboro; her daughter, Mary Harper (Timothy Harper) of Camilla, GA; a sister, Beverly Bennett of Michigan; six grandchildren; Mary R Hawkins (Dondrell Hawkins) of baconton Ga, F Nichole Miles (Amber M Miles) of Metter Ga ten great-grandchildren; Tyson Hensley, Dawson Helton, David Thompson Jr, Savanna Thompson, Harley Miles, Cassie Hawkins, Jordan Hawkins, Remington Hawkins; and one great, great-granchild Mariah Tores, The memorial service will be private.
