He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Matthew Brown and Elizabeth Fordham Brown of Metter, GA.; his wife Lana I. Crawford Brown; his daughters, Karen Hunter (Walt Waldin), Rhonna Gurevich (Alex), Mendie Hogan (David) and Stephanie Sadd (Phil); his brother-in-law Lamar "Mozzy" Crawford (Martha Sue); his grandchildren, Sarah Ferguson (Dave), Lon Hogan (Brooke), Ben Hogan and Grace Sadd; and his great grandchildren, Kalilah, Sean and Ashleigh.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Peachtree Corners Baptist Church or Agape Hospice.
