He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ottis Crooms and Mary Evelyn Donaldson Crooms; and his stepmother Gladys Crooms. He is survived by: his wife Jean Brown Crooms; his sons, Bobby Crooms (Tina) of Metter and Allen Crooms (Kristie) of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zach, Danton and Kristen Crooms; and his sisters, Carolyn Henley (Jeff) of Statesboro and Pauline Crooms Fountain of Metter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the fund of the donor's choice at Cedar Street Baptist Church.
