He is survived by: his wife Faye Battles Lamb of Metter; his daughters, Gwenda Rotton (Mickey) of Metter, Linda Johnson (Greg) of Lyons and Brenda Deal (Jeff) of Metter; his grandchildren, Holley Adams (Josh) of Clermont, Rebekah Lovell (John) of Woodstock, Jared Johnson (Amanda) of Winston-Salem, Coleman Johnson (Samantha) of Athens, Noah Deal of Metter and Rachel Deal of Metter; and his great grandchildren, Hudson Adams, Maggie Adams, JohnLucas Lovell and Judah Lovell. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 542, Metter, Georgia, 30439 in memory of James Edward Lamb.
