She was predeceased by : her parents, Essie Boy (Boykin) and Dorothy Mercer Boykin; and her sisters, Joyce Boykin, Y'vonne Boykin and Linda Harris.

She is survived by : her husband Freddie Edenfield; her son Christopher Boykin (Nicole); her stepchildren, Freddie Edenfield, Jr. and LaToria Fultcher; her siblings, Willie James Boykin and Earlene Hobbs (Lawrence); her grandchildren, Erin Boykin Baker, Brandon Searcy, Christopher Boykin, Jr., Christa Boykin Mainer (Tony), Jada Boykin, Tyrese Young, Lathan Boykin and Ni'Aire Boykin; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh Baker, Dakodah Searcy, Unique Boykin, Christian Boykin, Harmony Searcy, Cameron Mainer, Caden Boykin, Dream Searcy and Lila Searcy; her great-niece Ericka "Boobie" Smith; and her close friends, Tosha Ferguson and Veronica Gainer Wright. She is also survived by nephews, nieces.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (25 N Kennedy St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
