Joann leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Joann’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Joann will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her father Jessie Tyler; and her parents-in-law, Curtis and Caroline Deal. She is survived by: her mother Patril Tyler; her husband Chris Deal; her children, Tyler Deal (Dakota) and Christan Espinoza (Logan); and her siblings, Allen Tyler (Sherry) and Debra Hicks (Blake). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church (2290 Westside Rd, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Foundations Resource Center in Joann's memory.
