It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joe Minchew (Metter, Georgia), who passed away at the age of 82, on December 28, 2018. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie and Sadie; his brother Jerry; and his wife Sarah. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Anne, Sarah Jane and Donna Sue Kennedy; his sister Theresa Minchew Clements; and his children, Anne Hilderbrandt Childs (Jack), Jane Kennedy Hendrix (Jimmy), Sue Kennedy Becker (Brad) and Joe Tommy Minchew (Jan). He is also survived by nephew, two nieces and a legacy in sixteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Candler County Young Farmers, 34905 Hwy 129 South, Metter, GA 30439 to support scholarships for local students with an interest in agriculture.
