He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father James Homer Prince, Jr.; his wife Joyce T. Prince; his son Joe Elbert Prince, Jr.; his stepchildren, Savannah Gibbs, Paige and Kevin Campbell; his grandchildren, Joanna and Allison Jones; his mother Gertrude Kemp Prince (Kemp); and his brothers, James Homer III (Anne Prince) and John Stanley (Shelley Prince).
