She was predeceased by: her father Peter Williams; her sisters, Eva Mae Williams and Celestine Johnson; and her son Vernon Tremble. She is survived by: her husband James Lipsey Jr.; her children, Betty Raymond (Leroy), Bernice Kent (Clint), Julius Tremble (Lauren), Curtis Tremble (Jacqueline), David Tremble (Suk), Vincent Lipsey (Priscilla), Sharon Singleton (Grayling), Cynthia Johnson (Marvin), Alvin Tremble (Brenda), Wilbert Tremble (Marie) and Samatha Lipsey; and her brothers, George Williams and Theodore Crosby (Mary). She is also survived by her 27 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Zion A.M.E. Church Benevolent Fund.
