Kathy Hogan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Hogan in Metter, Georgia, who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hutson and Betty Fordham Shelton; her daughter Shannon Sweat; and her siblings, Patricia Hogan and Danny Fordham.

She is survived by: her husband Frankie Hogan of Metter; her children, Jason Hadden (Lauren) of Statesboro and Jessica Hubbard (Joe) of Metter; her brother Jeff Hutson (Tamara); her brother-in-law Tommy Hogan (Barbara) of Rincon; her grandchildren, Katie Mock (Dalton), Brianna Sweat, Abby Smith (Athen), Katie Hadden (John Simmons), Nadia Hubbard, Kamille Collins and Madison Wagner; her great grandchildren, Steele, Ryan and Mira Belle; her cousin Wayne Brown; and her sister Joanna Cardell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
