She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Turner and James Harrison Olliff; her husband Willie Preston Hendricks; her son Grant Preston Hendricks; and her grandson Samuel Matthew Strickland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Hendricks Meeks (Waldo) of Statesboro, GA and Willette Hendricks Strickland (Sam) of Albany, GA; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Hendricks of Metter, GA; her grandchildren, Jason Gibbs (Lisa) of Lexington, SC, Scott Gibbs of Rome, GA, Kate Evans (Hunter) of Hoover, AL, Alex Feisal (Luke) of Spartanburg, SC and Jeremy Brannen (Kyleen) of Calhoun, GA; and her great grandchildren, Carlyn Gibbs, Grant Gibbs, Weston Gibbs, Henry Lauck, Mial Evans, Rhen Evans, Mabry Feisal and Kamryn Brannen.
In 2004, Lorine was recognized as Candler County Historian of the Year for making significant contributions to promote and preserve the history of Candler County.
