She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilton DeSoto Fowler, Sr. and Cora E. Smith of Cochran; her husband Arthur Heigaard; her son Arnold Heigaard; and her siblings, Florence Smith, Memory Biggers, H. D. Fowler, Jr. and Billy Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur, Jr. (Renae), Allen, Carol, Anthony and Alex Heigaard (Valerie); her grandchildren, Allen Heigaard, Jr. (Dani Phares-Heigaard), Sara Cuillierrier, Jonathan Heigaard and Rachel Heigaard (Will Westerman); and her great grandchildren, Tayla Mercer, Scarlett, Penelope and Malcolm Phares-Heigaard (Mac).
