He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Harvey Kitchens, Sr. and Pearl Sanders Kitchens; and his sisters, Faye Wells and Sandra Rigdon. He is survived by: his wife Luana Kitchens; his son William "Bill"; his daughter-in-law Rosemary Kitchens; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Brandon Loyd; his grandchildren, Cole, Cameron, Courtney Kitchens, Preston and Carter Loyd; his great grandchild Luke Kitchens; and his nieces and nephews, Brian, Tony, Tim, Jennifer, Julie, June and Jean. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cedar Street Baptist Church in honor of Mr. Kitchens.
