Hodges of Norwalk, Connecticut; his sisters, Yvonne Hodges of Metter and Ommie Ruffin of Flint, Michigan; his grandchildren, John P. Copeland III, Ashton J. Copeland, Joshua A. Copeland, Gabriel C. Hall, Cameron J. Gonzalez, Cayden J. Gonzalez, Hannah M. Hodges, Lindsay M. Hodges and Jaden M. Hodges; his aunts, Bearneas Lanier of Metter and Luretha Tillman of Claxton, Georgia; his sister-in-law Gertie Johnson of Savannah, Georgia; his nephew Bilal White of Metter, Georgia; his brothers, Lucious Felder of Stone Mountain, Hubert West of Montezuma, Grady McCray of Metter and Curtis Tillman of Fairburn, Georgia; and his cousins, Faye, Alton West of Metter, Danny Parrish of Atlanta, Georgia and Novella Parrish of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hodges Funeral Home (509 Washington St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at 210 S College St, Metter, GA 30439.
