It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Priscilla Jane Stanton of Metter, Georgia, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Maddox and Elizabeth McDaniel Drew; and her brother James Maddox, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Charles Smith, Jr. of Macon, Philip Smith (Melissa) of Dublin and Michelle Fields of McRae; her grandchildren, Erica Fields of Metter, Kourtney Hays (Charles) of Sandersville, Justin Fields (Jamie) of Stockbridge and James Smith of Deltona, FL; and her siblings, Sherry Whitmire, Janice (Ed Haines), Danny Maddox (Bonita) and Ronnie Maddox (Marie). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
