He is survived by: his sons, David Ray Kirkland (Jacinda) of Zebulon and Byron Scott Kirkland (Stacy) of Ellabell; his brother Henry Kirkland of Lyons; his grandchildren, Zachary Kirkland (Chelsea), Peyton Kirkland (Nadine), Kaitlyn Bolton (Donald) and Cooper Kirkland; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Pio, Charlotte and Percy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
