It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Cook of Metter, Georgia, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Cook and Laura Pearl Dickey Cook; his mother-in-law Alexia Ellis; and his brother Herman Cook. He is survived by: his wife Frances Cook; his son Andy Cook; his daughter-in-law Heather; his daughter Tina Wells; his brother Howard Cook; his sister-in-law Emmie; his sister Georgia Cheshire; his brother-in-law Gene; his grandchildren, Blitch Daniel, Tori Latham (Jeremy) and Tucker Wells (Baylee); and his great grandchildren, Wren Drake and Kinlee Latham. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Home - Hooks Chapel (223 SW Broad St, Metter, GA 30439). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
