He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Sikes; his son Hal Sikes; and his granddaughter Amber Sikes. He is survived by: his daughter Lori S. Daughtry (Larry) of Metter; and his grandchildren, Tabetha S. Hebden (Scott), Tiffany D. Price (John), Hillary D. Fulmer (Justin), Brittany N. Burns and Kassidy D. Fordham (Jamie). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He made great contributions to the development of the Metter Airport and enjoyed flying planes in his younger years.
