He was predeceased by: his parents, George Monroe Parks and Maude Bowman Parks. He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Nations of Glennville and Alan Nations (Jeffrey Jenkins) of Key West; his grandchildren, Christopher Nations, Brittany Tillman (Christian), Dalton Nations and Emily Nations; and his sisters, Alma Stone (Dave) and Regina Thurman (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
