She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny "Buddy" Fordham and Minnie Lou Bowers Fordham; her spouse Glenn Erwin Steele; and her siblings, Jerry Fordham, Betty Shelton and Dot Purvis.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Steele (Susan) and Glenda Ann Oglesby; her sisters, Martha Faye Collins, Judy Morgan, Linda Sewell and Earlene Wilson; her grandchildren, Ashley Aldrich (Claire) and Ashlyn Steele; and her great grandchild Natalie Aldrich. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Affinis Hospice or the Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Activities Department.
