It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vann Eason of Metter, Georgia, born in Cobbtown, Georgia, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Eason and Rebecca Singleton Eason; his wife Betty Andrews; and his daughter Lawanda Eason. He is survived by: his granddaughter Brittany Eason; his children, Sharon Andrews, Vickie Smith, Debra Harden, Betty Gail Brunson, Teresa Niang, Julianne Eason-Grinstead, Sonya Eason and Vann Eason, Jr.; his siblings, Wilbert Eason (Catherine) and Carrie Bell Edwards; and his close friends, Kevin Parrish, Ronald Parrish, Lester Wadley, Isaac Coney and Jimmy Ray Brown. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren.
