With sadness, we share the passing of CSM Floyd W. Walker Jr. of Midland, Georgia. CSM, born on December 18, 1943, passed away on September 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember CSM for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Walker (Lively) and Floyd Wilbur Walker Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Ingrid Walker (Glebe); and his children, Jeffrey Walker and Sheila Niusulu (Walker). He is also survived by his four grandchildren; and his six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Fisher Chapel (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:19 PM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
