He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Newton Williams, Sr. and Levonia Bennett Williams (Donie); his brother Gordon Newton Williams, Jr.; his brother-in-law James D. Zimmerman; and his niece Lucinda Ann Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Lee Williams Zimmerman; his nephews, Charles M. Zimmerman (Kim) of Midville, GA and Walton D. Zimmerman (Sheila) of Evans, GA; his niece Mary Elizabeth Zimmerman (Beth); his great-nephews, Jacob, Matthew, Andrew and Samuel Zimmerman of Evans, GA; his great-niece Kristen Callahan Crisswell (Garrett); Rylan Crisswell.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church (1593 Mt Olivet Church Rd, Garfield, GA 30425).
