It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lester McClure of Midville, Georgia, born in Secaucus, New Jersey, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard McClure and Emma Appel McClure; his son William R. McClure; and his siblings, Richard, Ruth, Joan and Emma.

He is survived by : his sons, Douglas S. (Pam McClure) and David B. (Diane McClure); his grandchildren, Ann M. McClure, Kristen, Tara, Brenna, Jennifer, Sarah and Madeline; his sister Doris; his great grandchildren, Emmy and Alexander; his friend Ruby Johnson of Canoochee; his former life partner Carol McClure; and also Roger.
