He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Heather Cathcart (Clark Evans, Jr.); his sister LeEtta McCorkle Palmer (Mike) of Vidalia; his niece Michelle Palmer Denmark (Melvin); his nephew Michael Palmer of Vidalia; his great-nieces, Katie Thomas (Matt) of Tampa and Hope Smith (Keaton) of Alamo; and his close friends, Ron and Becky Wolbert.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the McCorkle Cemetery (139 Currie Rd, Uvalda, GA 30474).
